The Association of Independent Architectural Photographers (AIAP) is a trade organization representing some of the world’s best interior and architectural photographers. This is the second time I’ve had an image chosen to appear on the AIAP’s homepage. It’s an unbelievable honor to be one of the few select image makers chosen to represent a group of such extremely talented colleagues. Thank you to Alan Blakely.

I recently got a call from a past client, Pat Gaylor who participated in the design of the VISION and REVISION homes from last year in Orlando. She was working on a new project, in conjunction with Building Media, and the U.S. Department of Energy’s Building America program on a remodel project known as The Cool Energy House. The Cool Energy House project is a deep-energy remodeling demonstration house, headed up by Southern Traditions Development, with numerous techniques and innovations which are sponsored by numerous corporations, including GE, Panasonic, BASF, Simonton, Clopay, Therma-Tru and many others.
Since our project from last year was so successful, I jumped at the chance to work with Pat and the gang again. My expectations were exceeded. The results from everyone’s combined efforts I believe are fantastic.

Here’s a stunning oceanfront estate I had the privilege of photographing recently for Doc & Donavon Ellingson of Sotheby’s International Realty. 12,000 sq ft, 6 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms, a wine tasting room, and several pretty nice cars… A real bargain at just under $6,000,000.

We had to break out all the stops for such a magnificent place. I don’t mind sayin’ that it gets a little scary 30 feet up during 25 mph winds in this contraption.

But the result was clearly worth it.

Hamilton Furniture & Textiles designs and builds their own furniture which are on display and sold in showrooms in some of the most elite locations in the country, including Palm Beach, New York, Boston, San Fransisco, and Atlanta. I had the opportunity to photograph Hamilton’s founder and Director of Design Catherine Stewart’s personal home in Palm Beach. These interior appointments were all designed and built by her and her team. The simple yet elegant theme is quite apparent throughout and is clearly conveyed in a few of my favorite shots from the day.

Cris Condon and Bill Kirk of Sotheby’s International Realty have recently listed this amazing 17,000 sq ft, 8 bedroom, 9 bath intracoastal estate. This place is as spectacular as they come, and can be yours for just a tick over $11,000,000! Enjoy…
